Last night…

For two hours straight…I didn’t think about being murdered …I didnt think about being raped by Manfred Kammerer…

I watched friends and families enjoy an incredible performance……

To see some of those kids…to think that one day we might all see one of them on TV or hear one of them sing a song, on the radio.

It was more amusing that they were unable to pin songs from back in the day. Maybe they just couldn’t quite grasp terms like, GROOVY. Words of their generation…songs of their generation, were second nature.

They have the world in their hands. Thank God its theirs and not mine. Its been a ride…and definitely one I would not want to repeat or wish on anyone else….and besides, its time for them to do their thing!

We are now living in a city where stars will be born…everyday.

There was a lot of love in the room. I hope that love gets them where they need to go and helped them survive normal, sometimes cruel teen angst.

I’m glad I was able to witness what will be…for some of those kids…the beginning of something huge. Each and everyday…one of our talents passes…they must be replaced with new blood. Won’t it be awesome, if we knew them when…

I just pray that none of these young girls…will ever face an employer like Manfred Kammerer, in their lifetimes!

Who am I kidding? I wont be around long enough to see anything happen to anyone!

Now, back to prolonging the inevitable…
