Classic Collision Atlanta How Long Must We Sing This Song? #177

That was fun, for a moment. For a minute…you didn’t exist anymore.

Then, it all came back to me. The anger…the irritability…the moodiness…and the disgust.

I spoke to someone today. They were at work when their employer was robbed, on four different occasions. Fortunately, they were not in the same room when the robberies occurred.

My gut reaction was that this person may have had serious trust issues and I wanted to know how they recovered…if they had recovered.

Oddly enough…there was no recovery needed for those situations. However, they were robbed at gunpoint, while waiting in their car… for their friend to come outside of their residence. The robber behaved is if they needed directions…then pulled out a gun on the person inside the vehicle.

This happened fifteen years ago and this person still gets a little squeamish when they are approached unexpectedly…regardless of whether they are in a vehicle or not. They had mentioned receiving therapy for their incident and questioned what I was doing for what had happened to me.

Fifteen years…for something that took place within a few minutes.

_____ years…for something that took place for a period of four years.
